- Refill to top with ice.
- Close jar, wrap in towel, shake until towel is frozen to the jar; this requires lots and lots of shaking.
Recipe Notes
Yucca Drinking Rules
- Pass the jar around the group in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, do not change after starting.
- Each person gets one drink.
- Do not put the jar down. Whoever puts the jar down must have another drink.
- No jumping line or changing the drinking order. Violator must have another drink.
- Continue until the jar is empty.
- You may now put the jar down or make another batch.
Yucca Drinking Tips
- Roll and smash the lemons before cutting them in half (makes them easier to squeeze)
- Tape the towel on the jar so it does not come off (duck tape works great).
- Do not cheet on the shaking, it takes a lot to disolve the sugar.
- Each person must take his or her turn shaking. (It will go around several times)
- Shake the jar to level the lemons before you drink so the lemons and ice do not hit your nose.
