Mix together Yeast, 1 Tbl Sugar and ½ cup Milk. Let raise for 20 minutes, then add rest of Milk to this mixture.
In another bowl, cream Shortening, Sugar, Salt and Eggs. Add Flour to the creamed mixture, then add yeast mixture a little at a time.
Knead on flour board, put in pan and cover. Set in bottom of refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
Pinch off a small piece the size of a walnut, roll out on sugar, put a little nut mixture on the dough and roll it up. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes @ 375°.
