Barley Soup 2

Instructions
  1. In a 3 quart saucepan, combine all ingredients except water and barley. Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally, 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Add water and barley, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, or until carrots and barley are tender. Add more water to adjust consistency, if desired.
  3. Discard by leaf.
