Ingredients
Tomato Sauce
- 2 # Ground Beef
- 4 16 oz cans Tomato Sauce
- 1 12 oz can Tomato Paste
- 1/2 cup Onion
- 1/4 tsp Garlic
- 4 Tbl Olive Oil (or ¼ cup) (Mom didn't use Oil)
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 Tbl Parsley
- 1/2 tsp Basil
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
Cottage Cheese Mix
- 1 lb Cottage Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Pepper
Lasagna
- 1 # Lasagna Noodles
- Tomato Sauce above
- Cottage Cheese Mix above
- 1 lb Mozzarella Cheese grated
- 4 Tbl Parmesan Cheese (ᵙ ½ cup)

Instructions
- Brown Ground Beef, then Onion, Garlic and Oil. Add Tomato Sauce and Tomato Paste. Simmer for 30 minutes until slightly thickened. Season to taste.
- Add Butter and Salt to Water and boil. Add Lasagna and boil following box instructions (Take off heat set 10 minutes). Add cold water until Lasagna can be handled. Do not drain.
- Mix egg and cottage cheese, season to taste.
- Grease baking dish and arrange the bottom with Lasagna, cover with Tomato Sauce, then Cottage Cheese and Mozzarella, sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese. Cover with another layer of Lasagna, Sauce and Cheese until all is used up.
- Bake @ 350° 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
