Potato Soup with Sausage

  1. Peel potatoes, cut into cubes and place in saucepan. Add 3 quarts water, bay leaf and salt. Cook.
  2. When potatoes are almost cooked, melt butter in a separate pan, blend in flour and add onion. When this yellows, add garlic, parsley, pepper an marjoram.
  3. When the scent of flavors is evident, add the soup to the cooking potatoes. When the soup returns to a boil, add the sausage slices, lower the heat and cook a few minutes for the sausage flavor to blend.
  4. When soup is cooked, add vinegar if you want it.
