Instructions
- Mix together Yeast, 1 Tbl Sugar and ½ cup Milk. Let raise for 20 minutes, then add rest of Milk to this mixture.
- In another bowl, cream Shortening, Sugar, Salt and Eggs. Add Flour to the creamed mixture, then add yeast mixture a little at a time.
- Knead on flour board, put in pan and cover. Set in bottom of refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
- Pinch off a small piece the size of a walnut, roll out on sugar, put a little nut mixture on the dough and roll it up. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes @ 375°.
