Instructions
  1. Cream sugar and shortening.
  2. Beat in eggs until light.
  3. Add combined flour, salt and soda.
  4. Spoon into creamed mixture.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips and mincemeat.
  7. Drop by teaspoon on baking sheets.
  8. Bake @ 375° for 10-12 minutes.
